This module support 5 V / 3.3 V / 1.8 V three level switch, VCC/TX/RX/RTS/CTS/DTR/DCD/RI/switch
Description
It is a USB-to-TTL serial port module.
The outstanding performance of FT232RL is highly suitable for demanding industrial applications.
It realizes the USB to UART serial port.
This module can switch at 5V/3.3V/1.8V levels and provide a power output of up to 500 mA VCC.
Module features
1. Original FT232RL main control chip, fast speed and good stability.
2. Supports Windows XP/WIN7/WIN8/WIN10 32-bit systems.
The stable speed can reach up to 3Mbps (three times that of 921600).
4. The power VCC and signal levels (including the flow control pins CTS/RTS/DTR/RI/DCD) can be freely switched between 5V/3.3V/1.8V, adapting to systems of different voltages.
5. It integrates three indicator lights: power (blue), receiving (green), and transmitting (red).
6. The on-board 500mA self-resetting fuse automatically trips in case of overcurrent or short circuit, effectively protecting the computer's safety.
7. It has a strong power supply capacity, with a maximum output current of 500mA, which can drive most single-chip microcomputer system boards.
8. Integrated protection diodes ensure that the module will not be damaged even if abnormal voltages occur occasionally in the signal line.
9. The CTS/RTS/DSR/RI/DCD signal pins are led out, which can facilitate hardware flow control.
10. Compact in size and highly integrated, the PCB is only 20*50mm, occupying only the width of one USB interface. Even if the USB ports are very close to each other, it does not affect the insertion of other devices on the computer.
Pin description
1. 5V/3.3V/1.8V select pin: Switch the short-circuit cap to select the output voltage. (Must be connected
2. TX/RX: Serial data pin (referring to the TX/RX of the module, corresponding to the RX/TX of external devices)
3. VCC/GND: Power/Ground (GND must be connected, VCC can be left unconnected)
