Product Overview
The MPU-6000 is the world's first integrated 6-axis motion processing component. Compared with multi-component solutions, it eliminates the problem of axis differences when combining gyroscopes and accelerators, reducing a significant amount of packaging space. The MPU-6000 integrates a 3-axis gyroscope, a 3-axis accelerator, and a hardware acceleration engine for the Digital Motion Processor (DMP) that can be connected to accelerators, magnetic sensors, or other sensors of other brands via the second 12C port in the form of a single data stream from the main 12C port. Output the complete 9-axis fusion calculation technology to the application end.
InvenSense's motion processing database can handle complex motion sensing data, reducing the load of motion processing operations on the operating system and providing an structured API for application development.
The full-cell angular velocity sensing range of the MPU-6000 is ±250, ±500, ±1000 and ±2000°/sec(dps), which can accurately track fast and slow actions. Moreover, the full-cell sensing range of the user-programmable accelerator is ±2g, ±4g, ±8g and ±16g. Product transmission can be achieved through 12C up to 400kHz or SPI up to 20MHz.
The MPU-6000 can operate under different voltages. The VDD power supply voltages are 2.5V±5%, 3.0V±5% or 3.3V±5%, and the logic interface VVDIO power supply is 1.8V±5%. The packaging size of the MBU-6000 is 4x4x0.9mm(QFN), which is a revolutionary size in the industry. Other features include a built-in temperature sensor and an oscillator with only ±1% variation in the operating environment.
