Introduction to STC89C51RC/RD+ Series Microcontrollers

         The STC89C5IRC/RD+ series of single-chip microcontrollers are the new generation of high-speed, low-power and highly anti-interference single-chip microcontrollers launched by STC. Their instruction codes are fully compatible with the traditional 8051 single-chip microcontrollers. The 12-clock/machine cycle and 6-clock/machine cycle can be freely selected. The HD version and 90C version integrate the MAX810 dedicated reset circuit internally.

1. The enhanced 8051 single-chip microcomputer offers a freely selectable range of 6 clock/machine cycles and 12 clock/machine cycles, and its instruction code is fully compatible with the traditional 8051.

2. Operating voltage :5.5V-3.3V(5V single-chip microcomputer)/3.8V-2.0V(3V single-chip microcomputer).

3. Operating frequency range :0 to 40MHz, equivalent to the 0 to 80MHz of a common 8051, with an actual operating frequency up to 48MHz.

4. User application space :4K/8K/3K/6K/32K/64K bytes.

5. On-chip integrated 1280 bytes or 512 bytes of RAM.

6. Universal I/O ports (35/39), after reset, are :PI/P2/P3/P4 are quasi-bidirectional ports/weak pull-up ports (ordinary 8051 traditional I/O ports); P0 port is open-drain output. When used as a bus expansion, no pull-up resistor is needed. When used as an I/O port, a pull-up resistor must be added.

7.ISP(Programmable in System)/IAP(Programmable in Application), no dedicated programmer is required. Without a dedicated emulator, user programs can be directly downloaded through the serial port (RxD/P3.0,TxD/P3.1), and a piece can be completed in just a few seconds.

10. It integrates a dedicated MAX810 reset circuit internally (available only in HD and 90C versions). When the external crystal is 20M or less, the external reset circuit can be omitted.

There are a total of 3 16-bit timers/counters, among which timer 0 can also be used as 2 8-bit timers.

12. There are 4 external interrupts, including the falling edge interrupt or the low-level trigger interrupt. The Power Down mode can be awakened by the low-level trigger interrupt mode of the external interrupt.

13. Universal Asynchronous Serial Port (UART), and multiple UArts can also be implemented using timer software.

14. Operating temperature range :-40 to +85℃(industrial grade)/0 to 75℃(commercial grade).

          The STC89C5IRC/RD+ microcontroller includes modules such as the central processing unit (CPU), program memory (Flash), data memory (SRAM), timer/counter, UART serial port, I/O interface, EEPROM, and watchdog. The STC89C5IRC/RD+ series of single-chip microcontrollers almost incorporate all the unit modules required for data acquisition and control, and can be regarded as a system-on-chip.
