Step-down power supply module
DC-DC step-down power supply board input 5~30V to 3.3V/5V/9V/12V/15V 5A high-current step-down module
Product introduction
This module adopts a dedicated synchronous buck step-down solution, featuring low output ripple, stable performance, and a switching frequency of 500KHz. Wide voltage input range :5-30V, maximum output current up to 5A, on-board default configuration of multiple voltage outputs (3.3V /15V /9V/12V/15V), and corresponding jumper pads can be soldered to convert to the corresponding voltage output.
Product details
Parameter Introduction
Module type :BUCK step-down power supply
Input voltage :DC 5-30V(The input should be at least 2V higher than the output voltage)
Output current :5A(max)
Output voltage :DC 3.3/5/9/12/15
Switching frequency :500KHz
Conversion efficiency: approximately 95%
Output ripple :30mV
Protective measures: Output short-circuit protection, thermal shutdown protection, and automatic recovery function.
Output adjustment: Jumper pad selection, short-circuit the corresponding voltage output pad (only one pad can be short-circuted at a time).
Module interface: Large-area pads (can connect 2.54mm pin headers).
Module size :28.1x19.6mm(manually measured, with deviation).
Pin description
Pin name | pin function |
VIN | Positive terminal of power input, 5-30V |
VOUT | Positive terminal of power output, 3.3/5/9/12/15. |
GND | Input and output negative poles, shared |
Jumper pads | Short-circuit the corresponding output voltage. It is strictly prohibited to short-circuit multiple or fully disconnect them for use. |
Regarding Output
1.The maximum output current of the module can reach 5A. If the output exceeds 3A, heat dissipation measures need to be added by yourself. Overvoltage and overcurrent usage are strictly prohibited.
2. The module is a step-down type module. The input voltage needs to be more than 2V higher than the output to ensure stable output.
3. For loads, it is not recommended to use inductive loads with a power exceeding 5A. Inductive loads have a relatively large starting current, which can easily exceed 5A and burn out the module. Even if the rated current meets the conditions, it is very likely that the module cannot provide the starting current required by the load, leading to burnout.
