Product Introduction

      A DC ammeter is an instrument used to measure the current intensity in a DC circuit. When it is necessary to measure a larger current, a low resistor of a certain resistance value can be connected in parallel to the two input terminals to expand the measurement range. The zero point of its scale is usually placed at the far left end of the dial.

     Dc ammeters can be classified into ammeters, milliammeters and microammeters according to their measurement ranges, which are respectively represented by the symbols A, mA and uA.
